Wonderful Arcade Reference Book
I loved the layout, and it’s a great way to see the artwork from a ton of Arcade Classics. I especially liked the Reviews section, that had little bits of context for each item at the back of the book, so the pages with Marquees could focus on highlighting the artwork.

ARTCADE - The Book of Classic Arcade Game Art (Extended Edition)
Simply wonderful, like those arcade machines that appear in the book.

Arcade perfection
Arcade has always been a part of my life. But in Portugal there are no more games like these anymore. Truly sad about this. Anyway, the book is awesome and the pics are terrific... Reading it is just like a stroll in the rain... You never forget it.

An object of beauty
Shipping was fast especially considering it went from the UK to mainland Europe (Denmark). It arrived in perfect condition packaged in a way where it is difficult to imagine anything happing to the product during shipping. Receiving products, in Denmark, from outside the EU is often a mess and very expensive due to custom fees. This was a worry I had when ordering from BITMAP BOOKS but my worries were put to shame. The parcel arrived without any hassle from customs and no extra fees besides what was paid when I ordered the product. Now on to the book itself. The quality is amazing, the paper, print, cover and the sleeve are all incredible. The glow in the dark print looks nice with lights out. For someone who grew up in the 80's its very nostalgic to flip through all the arcade art, finding things that I remember as well as designs that I had forgotten about or never seen. I love the BITMAP BOOKS products but the ARTCADE has a slight edge on quality compared to other BITMAP BOOKS that I have seen (which are also really good quality). In my opinion you can not go wrong with anything from BITMAP BOOKS and I will be ordering the Point & Click and CRPG books once they are reprinted.

I only wish it were longer.
A wonderful artbook, and an important one—arcade signage was as carefully calculated as any advertisement or marketing material, and deserves to be chronicled and separated. I hope Bitmap does a Vol. II soon—and Vol. III, and IV, and...
