THE GLORY OF POINT-AND-CLICK ADVENTURE GAMES

As an old fan of point-and- click adventures I am glad that this book was created. This is the latest edition, it is very well put together a physical quality is also very, very good. The book maps this genre from the beginnings. I was very lucky to play The Secret of Monkey Island on a PC in 1990 in all its VGA glory (which was something in former Czechoslovakia at the time), what a game, and I was immediately hooked on the genre. Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, better game than movies and probably one of the best games ever made, I also vividly remember absolutely stunning VGA graphics of The Legend of Kyrandia: Book One, well it is all in the book.
